Sep 01, 2022Our manuscript entitled “High-Resolution Spinal Motor Mapping Using Thoracic Spinal Cord Stimulation in Patients with Chronic Pain” is selected as the Congress of Neurological Surgeons (CNS) Spotlight. Our study is the first to use a high-resolution spinal cord stimulation electrode, which is newly FDA approved, and perform medio-lateral spinal motor mapping in patients with chronic pain.

May 01, 2022Our study led by Julie G. Pilitsis, M.D., Ph.D., dean and vice president of medical affairs at Florida Atlantic University’s Schmidt College of Medicine, is published in the journal Neurosurgery. We demonstrated for the first time, the ability of machine-learning algorithms to predict long-term patient response to spinal cord stimulation placement with relatively high performance.
